"Mama Gray Saves the Day!" is based on a photo taken by Roger Stevens, Jr. that was shared across the world via the Internet in March of 2019. The brave mama gray squirrel repeatedly harrassed the large bald eagle, making it leave the tree that its baby squirrels were living in. Basing his story on the actions that unfolded, this book is a tale of  baby animals and their parents who live in the forest, and especially about one brave mother squirrel!
